We have to do a film study task next week.
I was wondering if someone could please give me a quick lowdown on what the film techniques and all that are again? (pan and all that). i've forgotten and i can't find it anywhere in my notes.

Oh, and also, the film task is on Module C (Telling the Truth), if anyone could give me some tips on what exactly to look out for it'd be awesome!

include stuff like camera angles, levels of characters, whether people are looking up or down at people.
Placement on screen (foreground or background etc)
lighting
symbolism
like you said, whether there are any special things the camera does like pans

I dunno, theres probably a website somewhere that has all of them on there..
