heya peeps!!
Here's wishing u all a final goodluck for the Maths 2u exams tmw.....hopefully, all of u's will do wellll....n gt the marks u want.....!!
Remember :
* Don't panic
* even if u think u do not know how 2 answer a particular question....don't worry!! it will get to u once u start thinking....!!
*READ every question properly......this is the key!
* Don't stress abt question 10....
* always attempt every part of every question....there r marks for the workings!!
* even if u have no idea....do something....don't leave the paper blank!!
* Check ur answers.....
* try 2 be neat....if possible....it impresses the markers!
*finally, all of u's will be fine.........

don't they only deduct marks for the same mistake once? so even if you forgot +c 5 times, they'd only take 1 off? that's what our school did in tests

lol my later class (after i dropped 3 unit) was so obsessed with remembering the +C. i couldnt really sympathise because i always remember it

It was in different questions, and i think the don't deduct marks rule is only if you do it in the same question.

another tip for trig: if you forget the exact values of sin30, cos60, tan45 etc, remember the triangles:

/ | \ sq.root 3
/ |2\
/ | \
/__|__\ With angles 60 at the bottom and 30 at the top
1 1

root 2/|
/ |
/ |1 With both 45 angles
/_____ |
1

Then work out the angles using tanA = opposite/adjacent, sinA = opposite/hypotenuse and cosA = adjacent/hypotenuse

Yep, also keep things in perspective: 3hrs is a LOT of working time so theres no need to rush and panic through the easy questions

especially if u know u wont go good.. so spend heaps of time on the ones you know to make sure they r perfect!

a general rule (though its already set out this way really): do the easier questions first, if they arent in order then work out which are easier in the reading time
