Hey guys this is my first post.

Just wanted an opinion on wether I should take up Capital markets and institutions for my elective first session? I'm double majoring in accounting finance so i guess i should probably take it up sooner of later.

From what I heard though the course is pretty boring, pile on top of that the QMA and microeconomics and first semester doesn't look all that sweet.

I was interested in doing management as an free option later, which sounds pretty fun, so should i choose this for my elective instead of the finance course? Any suggestions would be really really helpful. Thanks in advanced!

Well I recommend you do FINS1612 in first semester, because you'll find that your second year finance subjects have a prerequisite of FINS1612, so basically, you'll be quite behind if you dont do it now. I mean, you can do it in semester 2, but you also have to do FINS1613...
