Can they test you on yr11 stuff in the 1st yr12 assesment? (I mean yr11 syllabus stuff, not the stuff you did in yr11 as your school could have been fast)

Yes they can...or atleast mine did. There is a certain amount of content that can be prelim

Yes. But nearly all of it is built on prelim stuff anyway. You could argue that asking to find a stat point could be considered yr 11 stuff.

Hmm i though it would be just on the topics we did this term and the yr12 topics we did last term.

It will most likely be nearly all on that, but it might have a bit of yr 11 stuff such as what was covered after the final exam.

ah ok, thatll be nothing then. Is polynomials and parametrics prelim or yr12? I just dont want to have a whole shitload of trig to do...(can they put that in?)

Topic tests at my school normally had in them the topics that were recently learnt + in every test there was 1-2 prelim topics just so we could revise, especially since everyone in my school failed prelim

Yeah they can it isn't likely to happen though.

Polynomials and parametrics are yr 11 but frequently pop up.

yeah, i should get the assesment outline soon. Whatever is on that is what can ONLY be tested right?
