What practical are you talking about, give us more information

Here's a general practical report you should write up

Title
Aim
Hypothesis
Method - diagram, steps
Results - table, graph
Conclusion
Safety precautions
Discussion questions if present

it was very vague... not even a marking criteria. my teacher said that we may or may not need 2 know about: Galvanic cells, salt bridges and electrolytic cells. its in the "production of materials" component.

Oh... we're doing that too now, electro-chem and galvanic cells. It's not very hard, just know your terms well and you should be fine with the assessmet.

There's no hydrocarbons there. Study up on galvanic cells, the purpose of a salt bridge, electrolytes, and displacement reactions. If it's a first hand investigation, odds on it's the "compare the properties of dry cells and lead-acid cells to two of the following" dot point. You'll have to research the chemistry, cost and practicality, effect on society, and effect on the environment of four different galvanic cells and present your research in a report.
