Can anyone please help me, I need to know all about the Fluxus movement, and artists involved, like Yoko Ono?
Here's what I know:
-started in the 60s by NY art students
-beyond the limitations of painting and sculpture
-political/social movement (can anyone expand on that.. ?)
-MATERIALS: everyday objects, live animals(Beuys: coyote), human body
-similar ideas to Dada, Futurism, Surrealism (such as..?)
-radical
-Flux=constant flowing, process of change..
-Joseph Beuys: I Like America and America Likes Me
-Yoko Ono ....
-public places
-happenings.
I feel like all that is too vague.. I would really appreciate some help! Thanks
