thousands of you proberly have already done this assessment but it has totally stumped me. i need 4 new to this world ideas and i have ony got one and that is choc caramell ice cream topping. i need three more and i have no idea what that should be. i'd like some ideas or some hints of some sort that can put me on the right track.

so is my friend that is sitting next to me. i just need one more idea then i can start. no one seems to be able to think of that one more idea. i got the company name which is Perpetual Bliss (that is if i spelt it right)

So is strawberry mudcake.

but they are not out yet. so wouldnt it make them new to this world even if they are also line extentions???

Nope.
New to the world means like a new concept type thing.
Back when Chicken tonight was released, it was the first simmer sauce. Thus being new to the world. Then after much me-too's were released from competitors, chicken tonight produced about 5 line extensions of different flavours and such.

A New-to-the-World Productis defined as being a food product that is seen as having a feature such as taste, colour, brand, or packaging that is different to any other product.

A Line Extension is a changed form of an excisting product.

I'd re-read the assignment and make sure they do infact want you to design a new-to-the-world product, and check with your teacher to make sure.
