Hey, I am really bad at freehand sketching (like really, really bad) and was wondering if anyone has any resources or tips on how to improve.

Ps: I practice every now and then but I don’t seem to be improving.

yep, freehand sketching sucks, apparently, its not supposed to be freehand. Always try to use a rule, compasses etc as such.

if you don't have a ruler or compasses as such draw the shape using dash lines and then connect them together,
you'll find that it usually makes a pretty accurate shape!

When drawing detailing for bolts as such... start off with the basic geometic shape and then add detail~

It only says free hand sketches because not all schools have computer drawing software.

In exams u can use most drawing equipment, check the HSC timetable it tells you there
