i was just wondering how u know when u write essays and stuff, and we have 2 related material. i was wondering if we are allowed to add in our essays some stuff about what's happening now related to truthtelling and that. b/c what if the person that marks it gets mixed up or something? so could we do that?

definately yes. if u can include references between ur prescribes text or found text and relevant current affairs, then it is an extremely good idea ot include it - markers look favourably on this as it shows that you are connecting with the text on a perosnal level.
