just want to get some experienced thoughts on my ranks....

sor 2u- 3/25
physics- 3/25
eng adv- 4/48
eng ext- 3/6
maths 3u- 11/22
maths 4u- 4/7

sdd- 4/10

i go to a school outside the top 120. with about 10 people getting 90+ uai's from about 120 kids.

my school predicted my UAI to be 96.75. but they said that it was inflated and that i will be looking at about 94.

i'm looking at 90+ as my minimum. anythign below that and i will be very disappointed in myself.

for the hsc exam i am feeling confident in the following subjects:
sor2u, i have gone through the course and am quite comfortable, actually i am amazed at my rank, since i did no study till a week ago.
physics, pulled up my rank from 7th to 3rd, narrowly missed out on 2nd by 1%. i'm aiming for a band 6 in physics.
eng ext, i have looked at the past resopnses for the top bands, and i am hoping to be better than them.

i'm not so confident with my maths mostly because i havent any work durng the year. and i mean no work at all, just doing work in class and then the night before the exam. i am actually quite surprised that my uai estimate was still quite acceptable.
and as for adv eng, i got that rank due to my 'take home' assessment tasks(95%+ for them overall). my exams are quite horrid. probably related, again, to my lack of preperation.

and sdd is left out of the group for a reason

so what are people thoughts, i want to reach95+.

hmmm is 97+ out of the equation. i mean how well would i have to go to achieve that high?

Your 4U maths will do a great deal for you if you achieve very well for it.

But as it is, you should be able to achieve at least a 95 with strong HSC exam performance.

97 isn't out of the question but you have to work hard for it. As said, the 4U math will do you a lot of good.

All i can say now is,

Damn j0000!!! SDD won't count for you...

i am looking to focus on 4u. i'm just trying to get my physcis and sor notes out of the way...and runnign out of time.
and my 3u aswell, i am hoping to give that more time too.

Ranks are pretty hard to work with

Wednesday: SOR
Thursday: Chem, SDD
Friday: Extension English

I feel for them

huy, i would say its a long one relative to the posts in this section

expected hsc marks:
4u- high band5/ low 6
3u- low band 5
eng- mid band 5
eng ext- band 6 [E4]
sor2- high band 5/low 6
physics- mid band 6

sdd- ignore

even with conservative marks in those subjects, what do you think? conservative, as in lower end in the scale of marks i have given.

edit/ g'nite rage, better get some sleep before you study for sdd
