There is some harder 3u in the 4u course.

Though algebra skills are a must. Hone your maths skills so you know what to do - usually - for each question that comes up and so you don't go off on tangents.

you should actually fully understand the 2u and mx1 stuff , besides knowing how to do the questions and get the marks

don't worry too much about prelim maths. i mean there will be some concepts in prelim that relates to 4u. but overall - not really.
