could someone please help me with thins dot point

process information from secondary sources to outline and analyse the impact of the work of Galvani, Volta, Davy and Faraday in understanding electron transfer reactions

like, i get what their works were, but how did this impact on the understanding of electron transfer reactions?

Galvani
his work with the frog legs was the first experiment that generated an electric current , however his conclusions about animal electricity were wrong
IMPACT: he initiated other scientists (ie volta) to experiment further

Volta
he created the first voltaic pile and so proved that electricity did not come from the frogs legs
this was also the first continuous supply of electricity (they generated it from electrostatic machines
IMPACT: 1st continuous supply of current
even though made the incorrect coclusion of the contact of the metals in pile he intiated scientists like davy to further experiment in electrochemistry

Davy
used electricity to decompose water (showed that it was a compound)
isoated many pure metals from their ores (including reactive sodium and potassium)
he improved the voltaic pile
IMPACT: corrects identified that the current from voltaic pile was from chemical reactions

Faraday
carried out quantitative research in electrochemistry
developed laws relating the amount of Electricity and product produced (or substance dissolved)
IMPACT : measurements can now be made to predict the amount of substance created or dissolved with a certain amount of electricity
measurements can also be made to predict the amount electricity needed to dissolve a certain amount of substance
