Hey, in drama our two plays are garys house and no sugar does anyone have any tips or anything we i shld include in my essays thanks :)

Gary's house uses a visual metaphor of the house. Being built on stage it represents a house and also Garys dream: To build his own house for his family to live in. This is also the australian dream. Markers love the phrase visual metaphor.

I havent read No Sugar, but in the first scene theyre playing backyard cricket which is a typical australian thing to do.

Theyre good plays if the question relates to who the playwrights understand what it means to be australian :)

I personally hated garys house, so i went on about how flawed it was, stereotyped characters. I really hated the characters and ran with that, you dont care about the characters you dont like.. etc.
