I feel it would be useful to have a few quotes from literary critics. Does anyone know any critics who have commented on the impact of context on texts? Or even better any good quotes such as "every text is merely a representation of its society at time of composition" (well probably put more eloquently than that) made by famous literary critics.

I don't know. I looked at some of the full mark answers in my school for module A and they had quotes from literary critics and experts, so I thought it would be a good idea to do it in this module as well.
