find all values of x for which the curve f(x) =x^3-3x+4 is decreasing

f(x) = x^3 - 3x + 4

For decreasing, f'(x) < 0

Therefore:

3x^2 - 3 < 0

3(x-1)(x+1) < 0

Sketch the graph and find where it is below the y-axis in which the answer should be: -1 < x < 1
