What's with that?
In the new bar at the top of the page, there are sometimes German ads for computers and software etc.

eh the google ads deliver ads which are related to the page. eg. if i'm on a thread about maths then most likely it will show ads about maths.

iunno maybe that thread had some german in it.

I think the targeting algorithm behind Google's ads confuses itself sometimes.
