the collapse of Weimar is a huge component of the syllabus. Yea Hindenburg contributed to its collapse but there was so mucn more to it. For example,
- failure to remove pro-1914 elites from positions of power
- Remember that as soon as they knew they were screwed Hindenburg n Ludendorff handed control to the gov't, therefore when Germany lost the people blamed Weimar
- hyper inflation - caused extreme hardship which was blamed on Weimar
- proportional represenation - there were 2 many small parties in the gov't to allow a majority vote to be decisive
- DEPRESSION - yes Weimar was blamed for this too & yes Hitler used that to his advantage.

There's more stuff I could add to this but essentially what you need to say is ok Hindenburg contributed but he was not the only factor that led to the collapse
