More important in this instance is where you rank in the class. All your assessments do is define exactly where you stand compared to the rest of your class - this rank is all-important. Depending on your school size, you should be aiming to rank in at least the top 20% - top 10% is even better.

We had to test the assertion to compare hrs work done by yr 9 10 and 11 students then show the mean mode e.t.c for each data set

that sorta thing
