I'm looking at something like this for my next car:

Or:

Used Car for sale | VOLKSWAGEN, GOLF GL www.drive.com.au

What do ya'll think about this model Golf? I know about the quality control issues they experienced in early life, but I reckon I could find one that's had all the problems fixed and been treated well easily.

Just wanting your opinions .

I've heard of that, but they're german. You have to expect the German attitude haha.

But seriously, from what I've heard, VW has shit customer service in the U.S... But Aus is fine. Plus, I wouldn't be dealing with VW as it wouldn't be under warranty etc. I'd be going to my local mech who's the best mech I've met XD.

Their service is fine from personal experience, not that you'd really be in contact with VW if you're buying a MKIV. Curious to see what issues they have (not denying it, just curious).
