I recommend it too. I hate to be preachy, but I think this is one of those movies that's important for everyone to see.

totally agree that it's a film everyone should see.
it's funny that i'm usually wary of political films lately because they seem to be more focused on their agenda rather than creating three-dimensional characters (*cough* the constant gardener *cough*), but gn&gl does exactly that and it's totally compelling as a result. we get nothing but the cold hard facts and the news team's determination to deliver them to america, and all the better for it - anything else would be superflous and would interfere with the atmosphere and airtight execution. i also loved the jazz singer interludes; a great way of giving the audience a breather while still keeping us in the restrictive setting.

this film was amazing! the inclusion of the actual mcarthy footage was practically seamless and the acting almost perfect. one of the best films i have seen in a long time. it will become part of the canon i think.
