anyone know any good websites for software design.?

i need to study and i have the alan fowler book which i dont think is very good. i dont have much money to spend on other textbooks (maybe get mum to) so i need a good site or 2.

the whole course in general. cause my teacher is crap and the rest of the class is very dumb. so i dont learn anything.
