Google Error

We're sorry...
... but we can't process your request right now. A computer virus or spyware application is sending us automated requests, and it appears that your computer or network has been infected.

We'll restore your access as quickly as possible, so try again soon. In the meantime, you might want to run a virus checker or spyware remover to make sure that your computer is free of viruses and other spurious software.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope we'll see you again on Google.
I have run MS antispyware and im currently running Norton's Antivirus to check.
So far there appears to be no spyware except for Dope Wars Software Bundler

If you have Mozilla Firefox you can download search plug-ins. I recommend "MetaCrawler" as a search engine.
I use prodominantly IE but also got firefox, i find IE better, more user friendly and my webct only works with IE

Ok.. then a good search engine website alternative to that of Google is MetaCrawler as previously stated^^.
Thanks, You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to AntiHyper again.

so was the problem the trojan you deleted or are you also with tpg?

edit - if you read the post on the previous page and you're with tpg that's what it is

Can i get a serious response
Excuse me ?

I told you exactly what you asked. You asked if you should get a virus scanner, or change search engines. I told you the logical answer. It's like me getting a new email provider because my browser is outdated and can't log in to my existing providers site. Solution ? Upgrade the browser.

Similiarly, it would be logical to get a working virus scanner, rather than stop using google because you have a virus. Leaving a virus is the silliest thing I've heard in a while. You need to clean it out.

Please do not degrade my response; I thought letting the virus win and simply changing your SE was avoiding the problem and illogical.
