G'day,

Does anyone know where I can find the full judgment of the Gordon Wood trial?

Cheers.

I'm under the impression that criminal trials don't have judgments - it's all up to the jury. When they return guilty or not guilty, there's nothing more that the judge can really add.

The CCA decision from earlier this year can be viewed here.

Do you actually mean the transcript?
You will have to apply to the Registry for that, and there will be a fee attached, which will be enourmous.

AFAIK, he is not yet sentenced. So perhaps you want the remarks on sentence, which have not yet been made?

It being recent makes finding anything such as transcripts, commentary etc difficult. In my first year I had to do a case note + commentary on a recent case (Combet v Cth I believe) and it had been decided a few months before and it was quite difficult to find anything.

Is there anything on Austlii....I remember getting a transcipt for the Roach case before the decision was out and it might have been from Austlii. Good luck
