I do 4 maths, 4 english, 2 business and 2 economics.

I asked this before, and i was told that only the best 10 units count. So suppose I stuffed up 2 economics, the 2u economics would not count, even though the remaining 10 units were made up of only 3 subjects. You know what I mean? you hafta do at least 4 different subjects, right? I was told that you only had to ATTEMPT 4 subjects, but the best 10 units counted, regardless of anything else.

Well now someone has told me that if i stuff up economics, then 1 unit from economics will count no matter what.

That is correct, as long as you satisfactorily complete all 4 subjects but don't do well in economics in terms of marks, it will not count towards your UAI.

lol...u only have to attempt and satisfactorily complete 4 subjects, it doesn't mean that 4 subjects need be counted in ur uai. the 4 subjects thing is a BOS requirement for the award of an HSC, not a UAC requirement for the award of a UAI, though obviously u'd need a HSC before a UAI.
