Does anyone have a link to a GPA calculator? i remember someone having one in their sig before (i think they went to maquarie).

Yo -

The GPA calculator actually calculates the average worth of EACH credit point.

If I had ten subjects, ALL worth 3 cps, with one subject a HD and the rest Ps...

That GPA would be worse than ten subs, all worth 3cps except for the ONE HD subject that was 4cps.

That's because you have 4cps of High Disctinction goodness rather than 3cps.

Essentially, your GPA = your marks of each sub x cps of each sub / total cps. It's an average.

Fuck, that's valid only for MU... I think you'll have to rely on doing it by hand/normal calculator.

Yes it's a shitty program, and yes it's full of bugs. Also works for WAM if you enter WAM mark instead of GPA grade.

I don't care what other program you found, you have to use this one cause I tailored it to your mannerisms.

What about uni's which have a cp system where all subjects no matter their level are worth the same amount of cp's (ie 10 cp)

It doesn't really matter, because most unis only have a few lower cped subjects (about 65% of MU's first year subs are 3cp, as opposed to 4cp for everything else) as earlier units.

You should be able to do a multiplication, say four x 4cps x HD, or something. Also, put NRSL stuff in, and it would be orsum.
