I wasn't sure where I should ask this.

Let's pretend I've finished an engineering degree at uts.
How much notice (time) should I be given for my graduation ceremony? Um, I most probably didn't word this properly. Let me try again. Say the grad ceremony is in a week. Should uts have sent me a letter weeks before the grad ceremony, months before the ceremony, or just days before the ceremony?

This isn't me, but it's someone I know. They finished their degree a year ago. Paperwork stuffed up for the October graduations, so he/she had to wait till May, but they haven't sent anything to him/her about it, and it's coming up soon. Is this normal? Because I've heard uts isn't too organised when it comes to this stuff (that's why the paperwork stuffed up in May).

Maybe this should be in the engo sub-forum.
