If you know what the graph looks like straight away, or you can do it in ur head kinda thing, do you have to write down stuff like

if g(x) <1, f(x) > g(x) for square root graphs, or other minor and obvious things like the asymptotes and where f(x) and g(x) meet? or can u just show this explicitly on the graph. Also, do you have to leave the original (basic) function g(x) there or can u rub it out once drawn main graph f(x) .?? How do HSC ppl mark these things??
???
i'll top the state in maths and get uai=100

Most HSC questions just require you to draw a graph give an equation and then they may ask to draw the square root or cubic of it etc. To get marks you just need to have a few points right, axis, shape correct etc. So no, unless stated you do not need to show any working out

Check out some past papers and worked solutions for some guidence and best of luck

Ps - no the original graph is not needed but u can do it - make sure u label which is which however
