Miltiades is on the syllabus as a personality to know. Is that basically his involvement in Marathon and its influence later on the role of stratagos and polemarch and that kinda thing? or is there something im missing??/
He wasnt overly active in the political scheme was he??

He did influence the ekklesia to build the ships that was to be used to protect the delian league participants. That is a bit political i guess. I haven't gone over it in detail but i think he was quite active politically as a stratagos to influence the ekklesia. I'm not too sure though.
