We had to do Groupwork for an english assignment and the teacher made me pair up with the biggest bitch in our class. I've spent the whole week researching the work and I have sent her all my research and stuff but she has made no effort to do it. The assignment is due tomorrow and I've finished the work all by myself. She still hasn't made the effort to call me or send me an email to ask about the assignment. Whilst I have tried to call her and i have sent her like 5 emails asking "politely" if she could help me. Should I talk to the teacher about it or should I just write her name on the paper even if she hasn't done anything?

Also, I was wondering if anyone had similar bad groupwork experiences?

Make sure that the work you do is acknowledged, like make a contents page with the name of the corresponding author.

you need to keep a record of the calls you made and the emails you sent so you can prove that you did attempt to fix the problem. also, like kaylz said, include a contents page or coverpage etc. that acknowledges who was meant to be in the group and who contributed what work to the 'group' project. make sure you tell your teacher your concerns regarding the project. also, if when you get your mark back it';s not what you feel you deserve, you have every right to make a complaint. jst make sure you go through the proper channels (your group partner, teacher, head teacher, principle)
