Is there a way to access the advanced display screen from outside the game? I need to lower the resolution and stuff, but everytime i press the advanced button the game crashes.

Hmm. There probably is an *.INI file that has those settings; let me see if I can find it for you.

(Hmm, then again maybe not. If you obtained the game legally, see if there is a contact email, phone, website address, etc to get in touch with Rockstar and ask them.)

I hate integrated cards of a GeForce 2 level; they seem to be polluting the market. I have a Radeon 9200, which is barley sufficient for San Andreas. I experience graphical corruption and cannot get good frame rates at all in 32 Bit Colour. A GeForce 2 might be pushing. I would say wait for a patch or get a new video card.

oh okay.. i wouldn't bother playing it at all, i doubt u can get anything playable

yes .

i CAN play it, just finished the 4 robbing missions. but it's pretty annoying.

oh.. so it doesn't crash as in the game still plays, but when u access advanced options it crashes?

I'm surprised it even runs on the Geforce 2.. my 6600GT is starting to struggle <20 frames per second... and a Ti4200 struggles to put out decent framerates@ 1024x768
