Guidance needed regards to stuffing up internal assessments (1 Viewer)

Hey guys, i'm just wondering if I stuffed an assessment that weighed 15% internally, would i still be able to achieve a uai of 80?

Hell yes you can.

Just keep trying - you have 85% left to make up! I've done average in 15% assessments too, but don't let it get you down. And it's only one subject.

Yeah of course you can, everyone screws something small up from time to time, just remember its only one assessment piece, there will be plenty of others.

i dont know what you mean by stuffed up, but if you got say...60%, then 60% of 15% is 9%. then you have the 9, because half your hsc mark is your assessment mark, and youve only lost 4.5 marks off a perfect hsc. and if your uai is ROUGHLY an average of your hsc marks, allowing for you to have subjects that scale up and down etc. then youve still got an excellent chance of getting 80. just try not to stuff up too much for the rest of the year and exams.

That's exactly how I look at it when I screw up (eg. English I got the mark in the example).
