How many poems should we discuss in the 'Changing self' essay In Paper 1 -
is 2 or 3 suffiencient? bare in mind theres the stimulus booklet text plus at least 2 of your own choosing...so that would make 5 texts to discuss in total... is that OK?

I think 2 is definitely sufficent. My school recommended 2 poems, Sky High and 2 Supplementary.

Plagarise?? HSC students Plagarise?? Would we do a thing like that? NEVER!! *cough cough*

But, back to the topic, im planning on using 2 poems... Have any of your teachers said to make sure u know every poem, as technically they can ask us about ANY particular poem??

we've been told to include a min. of 3 coz you should cover at least half. same goes for frontline (if ur doing it) and then 2 additional texts of different types. weve also been told to know something about every poem coz in the question if they really wanted to be assholes they could specify a particular poem

but the markers love father and child...
