Back in June last year I decided to get foils in my hair. Now I have black hair so it took a toner and colour to get the colour. It was kinda a blondy-gold colour which was ok at first but eventually looked strange. I let it grow out coz it was expensive to get a half head of foils.

Then last month I went back and got a lighter colour brown foils, and thought that it would cover the goldy brown colour. Well some of it did show through and the top you could see the new brown when my hair was dry.

I was looking at my hair in the mirror today and i cant see the new colour, only the old one and it looks all faded and revolting.

So what can i do to get rid of the old colour so taht i can start fresh and put a nice colour through. Coz i dont ilke being jet black which is my natural hair colour....well technically if im in the sun it sometimes looks dark dark brown....

And to make things worse, they didnt cut the back of my hair right, the layers are good but its a lot longer than the front and so it looks revolting when i have my hair out. And today it looked longer at the front and ikky

There is a thing you can use that strips away colour, I don't know what it's called but you can get it from the chemist, some hairdressers might sell it too.

If you have black hair you pretty much either have to live with it or be prepared to put in effort and money to change it...maybe just get your hairdresser to lighten your hair all over, to a brown and then go get lighter foils etc if you still want it lighter. It'll need constant maintenance though.
