I need to do this actually when I can be bothered

go into stores
say I would like to apply to work at your store, or just ask if there are any positions available, and hand them your resume, tell them your availabilities if they ask and also when you can start

Depends. Large chains like coles or woolworths, no. You will get nowhere.
But small business, yes. Just say, 'hi, i am interested in working here for any position, can i just leave this with you so that you could contact me if you have an opening?"
and just do that as much as you can i spose. you'll eventually hit a winner.
