how much would an external hard-drive cost, ive use up my 40gb on my computer with movies, whats the most space(gigabytes) you can get in an external hard-drive...how much would that cost, and how much would like a 80gb or >100 gb cost me...

also is an external hard-drive like a usb memory-stick, where you just plug it in the usb port and the drive pops up..???

yes an external hard drive uses usb 2.0, and theyre not that expensive nowadays
80gb to 100gb would set you back at around $200 according to computer world
