Geometric applications is simple.Complex numbers ; Geometrical applications
Tbh the HSC doesn't give you really difficult inductions. They mostly want to see you can apply the concepts.Geometric applications is simple.
Complicated:
Induction
When this happens its done in a way that there is a lot of handholding involved (HSC 2010 Q8 for example), making it lose a lot of difficulty.Any questions that combine concepts from different topics. For example questions that manage to combine integration, inequalities, series and induction all in one.
True. But this is said from the perspective of someone who is clearly extremely good at maths. The typical student gets intimidated by these sorts of questions. Hopefully one day I will find the right motivational technique for people who "can't see the maths for the equations".When this happens its done in a way that there is a lot of handholding involved (HSC 2010 Q8 for example), making it lose a lot of difficulty.
