If it's the course you want to do, then you can chill. No problems with that.

brotherrr how do you even get early entry, i haven't gotten a single offer yet from either UAC and VTAC, tried like some of the early entry stuff through unis like UTS but they require Australian citizenship :(
i think early entry with the unis is only for ppl with citizenship and uac srs is after hsc

Early entry is really retarded. you're telling me you're basing it off year 11, and if the year 11 did good (likely to do well in year 12 too if it weren't for EE) they give you a lower entrance requirement? Why not just not do early entry at all? After all, this is not standardised, as some schools exams are way easier than others. The teachers also play a role since they are the ones who grade you subjectively.

In my opinion, early entry is a good principle. For the universities, they get to secure their enrollment numbers for the next two years. And for the students, they get to alleviate some hsc stress. However, in practice, early entry tends to base crucial decisions about a student's future on unrepresentative data. For example, the universities tend to have an easier time basing early entry decisions from large cohorts with consistent levels of academic achievement. But for small cohorts with inconsistent academic achievement, it can lead to unrepresentative early entry offers. So if a small cohort has a stellar hsc year, it may not be reflected in the grade's early entry offers. Vice versa if they have a disappointing hsc year. That happened with my early entry offers, where my cohort increased my school's ranking by ~80 places, and I got an atar considerably higher than that needed for anu law, but nevertheless I never got an anu law early entry offer. So I think early entry would work better if there was an objective standard for universities to judge year 11 marks, like if there was an external 'mini-hsc' that was conducted at the end of year 11. Despite its flaws, I still support the early entry program but want to see it improved.

"mini hscs" are basically how A Level does theirs. They have AS levels which don't count towards final A Level grade. AS Levels are basically their prelims, except AS Levels are standardized similar to HSC.
