hi guys...

k.... i've recently been freaking out here... none of my courses are complete

the only subject we've covered is english extension

i'm not worried about maths or maths extension .... only one chapter to go for each

chemsitry: we have our option left... although we've started (but i think it's normal to be up to the option... is it not?)

as for physics.. this is really killing me

we've only covered the first 2 modules and are currenlty half way into our third module... so we have 1.5 modules left

that's 3 terms on 2.5 modules

and something like 4 weeks left to complete 1.5 modules

any one in a similar situation or is it just me in my own little boat

most people who did the catholic trials have completed all their courses (mainly those who go to catolic schools.. or am i wrong?)

oh and i still have 4 assessments after trials....

please if u have finished all ur courses don't post here... u'll just add to all the stress... lol.. nah jut kidding.. post.. i might as well face the reality of my situation

We've finished our English and English Extension courses, or at least done all the content, though not in all the depth.
For 2 unit and Extension 1 maths we're finished, but we're struggling in 4 unit - havent started mechanics or done much harder three unit work.
For physics and chem we're like half way through the option, which i spose seems to be good going, though its annoying for the trials being not just started but not finished either.

We've finished English and music

2u maths we've still got probability to go because the 2u class is slow, and our teacher said we wouldn't do it until they've started.
3u maths we've still got simple harmonic motion and further probability
4u there's mechanics
Chemistry we've done the first section of our option
Physics we've done the first section of I2I, but we've done our option already.

So we've still got a fair way to go.

Don't stress. You should be fine!

Hey what options are you doing for chem and phys?

In maths we still have 2 chapters left (at least),
In economics we still have a few chapters left,
Only one i've finished is extension english...and my exam is on monday and i'm FREAKING OUT...sorry...don't mind me...

...and don't even get me STARTED on ee2. God help me... *prays*

physician, my gosh what are you worrying about?
You are one of the smartest people on these forums
i have such a high regard 4 u.
Anyways...

We haven't finished ANYTHING in any subject yet except english.
English Adv we have finished but it was pretty dodgy on frontline IMO.
Maths we have the WHOLE of Applications of calculus to the physical world to do.
Business we have ONE WHOLE TOPIC-The biggest one left-Global business
Legal-we have 1/2 of consumers to go
IPT-I have to learn 2 whole options by myself-TPS and Multimedia because we weren't taught them.
SOR1-We have 1/2 of a religious rites topic to do

So as you can see...we haven't done alot :(
I should be the one whose worrying

However I have done all my assessments-my trials were the last.

wow.. thanks for the replies

i'm surprised actually i thought most of u guys had completed ur courses... i guess i was wrong!!!

i spoke to my physics teacher today he thinks we will finish in '4 weeks'.. i plan to trust him.. but i'm still gonna go tutoring for phyiscs just incase we don't end up finishing

joe.... I'm pritty average actually... lol where did u get that impression from.... lol

ummm for my chem option we're doing shipwrecks and salvage
for physics .... medical physics

I'm mainly concered because our trials didn't really test us on 'everything'... especially physics...

by the way.. are u guys planning on staying in school till week 10?

i think i'll need a minimum of 5 weeks to study for the HSC.... 1 week for every 2 units

Hell yes, i have 3 weeks i can study non-stop! i don't wanna miss any time at school, we won't have another chance to experience being there with all our school mates! I don't wanna look back and wish i had been there with everyone in the last weeks, they're the only good reason why i go to school anyway... :) *cue corny violin solo*

We have to stay at school til our last day (the Thursday before everyone finishes term 3). Our principal's weird like that, but if we're not there he'll get on it and call parents. As for the courses, I've finished english, only like the day before trials, Business were a tiny way through global, gen. maths... not really sure where we're up to, but we aint finished, chem we haven't even started the option and society... well I dunno because I go to that class to sleep and figure it out at home by myself.
