help? 4u or 3u maths? (1 Viewer)

im kinda confused at the moment....we just got our first hsc assessment marks back for 4u and 3u maths and turns out i hav been recommended to leave the class with marks of 23/36 in 3u and 23/38 in 4u. i realise they are pretty poor marks..especially since complex numbers is apparently the easiest unit in 4u...but i was wonderin whether i should stick it out in 4u and maybe end up averagin around 50 % in assessments or drop 4u down to adv maths and 3unit averagin around 80%-90%????
ne opinions would be appreciated.... could scaling be a factor?

I'm pretty good at maths and am consistent in getting at least 90% in all my 2U exams and at least 85% in all my 3U exams yet I am sitting in 3U because I realised that (I don't do very much maths study atm, i.e. day before study) I will need to put in a lot more effort for 4u and i just wasn't prepared to do it.

yeah...im just not sure which will be better for my other subjects and uai....anyone?
