Q1) How does a electroscope work?
Q2) how does a fuse work?
im currently in yr 10 and i really need help for a test 2morrow so i need to no the meaning so ne one plz help me as soon as u can

2) A fuse works by having a small wire that has been made to be a certain diameter so that it can carry a certain current if this current is exceeded it will heat up and melt breaking the circuit and preventing an overloading of parts.

1) when charged, the leaf of the electroscope and the rod, which it is attached to are both of the same charge. the coulomb repulsion between the 2 metal pieces causes the leaf attached freely 2 the rod to rise until it is balanced by its own weight
