just wondering for my PIP if some people could answer these 2 direct questions for me please. nothing too long, could be a word or a couple of sentences. spanks
(ps i know this thread is somewhere else, but try not to get too angry about it lol no one's answering it anyhow)

1. do u think all religion is lost through time??

2. do you think an environment can alter a religion (ie due to australia's dominant christian society?)

spanks again. just a small comment for both would be LOVELY

1. I think that defiantly some aspects of religion are lost through time, but not all. It really depends I guess. Certain factors such as the influence of other religions and modernisation may have some kind of impact.

2. I think an environment can alter a religon to a certain extent. Certain values could impact on the religion.

I don't know if that was any help. They're pretty hard questions but anyways good luck!

1) I think as religion is a social construct is it deffinetly lost or at least changes throughout time as it is just another social practice which is subject to various continuities and changes.

2) I think the environment does affect/alter the way religion is practiced, i mean in Australia i think our physical isolation has greatly affected the way in which we pratice religion. I think there is more co-operation among various denominations and religious traditions but anyway i think this is just the religion student in me talking.
