Help Me With Windows Live Msn Messenger (1 Viewer)

Does anyone use it?

I'm trying to share files (legally cuz its my own music) with someone over msn. This new shnazzy feature of sharing "folders" rather than single files is kinda cute, but as it synchronises, it doesnt seem to work. I've tried a lot of ways, even turning off my firewall altogether thinking that was the problem.

Help would be greatly appreciated...

In the conversation window... go to actions, then send a single file then browse through your computer and select the file, then repeat. It may be slow but it will work.

I've done all that, its the synchronising that doesnt work.

It says "sychronisation failed, will try again later" etc.

I was wondering what else it might be if it isnt about my firewall.

EDIT: just re-read what you wrote.

No I would rather use the folder option though, unless its one of the actual beta problems of this software.

Or maybe do they even have Live Messenger on their side?

Meh. Got over it.

The person I was sending it to is generally computer illiterate so I assume it was their side, not mine, tried to work with them.
