Help my CD drive wont open! (1 Viewer)

So I tried to play a cracked CD, and now the CD drive wont respond and I cant get the damn thing out. I need help! :eek:

I did...it took about half an hour to restart and the CD is still stuck.

does your CD drive have that little "hole" where you stick a pin to manually open the drive?

I suggest disconnecting the power from the cd drive first though..

ah yeah that always works. if it doesn't, you'll probably have to go get your computer fixed or something.

Indeed. Btw your computer shouldnt be taking 30minutes to restart. Sounds like software problems.

just make sure u don't dislodge the clip inside that lets the tray open.
the only thing bad that happens is u get a scratching noise everytime the tray opens/closes

right click on the cd drive in my computer and press eject

Why unplug the computer, open the case and disconnect the power from the drive when unplugging the computer does the exact same thing.

PS You are very smart. Do people call you very smart man or something :B
