I need to track down some articles on a current criminal justice issues and the sydney morning herald isnt helping.
I've found plenty of articles addressing issues, but none of them touch on the efficiency/effectiveness of the criminal justice system in dealing with the issues....
Ahhh!

Have you tried typing in "effectiveness of the law news articles criminal" into google. Then have the patience to scan through. I think that should find you some. Make sure your set to australia
