im doing 12units..

my worst 2 subjects are extension 1 maths
and economics..

ive been advised to drop at least one of these subjects..
preferbly eco since it has a lower scaling than three unit maths..

but other people say that this is for the schools benefit ( as i my low marks would lower the average) and NOT for an individuals benefit...

?? past hsc students >< please help!

to drop or keep going..?

* i just realised ive put this in the wrong category >< sorry!!*

im a 2004er

i didnt do ext maths, 2u was enough for me

but i did eco and i enjoyed it once we got past the whole globalisation and stock market crap.........economics gets easier as you go on at least for me it did

eco isnt too bad in terms of scaling and it becomes very useful in uni in wateva u do, well except like science and stuff but for business, social science, economics, legal studies, accounting...knowledge of economics is useful

won me a debate in welfare class :)

if you've got a firm grip on maths than its alot easier as maths is an exact science.

for me though eco was alot easier than maths.....it gets easier....except that globalisation shit is crappy :(.........though u do alot of gloablisation in year 11, u touch on it in hsc, and it might be in the end of year exam, so im not sure

if i was u id drop ext maths

but dont listen to me
