Yea I got
1/2 => sinx
sin^-1 (1/2) => x
pi/6 => x => -7pi/6
5pi/6 <= x <= 2pi
-2pi <= x <= something
but I got these answe base on graph, how can I get the solution just by working out without graph?

The annoying problem is that x can exceed 2pi. Perhaps we need to use that general solution of trig equations? (I never got that sect. But I think you can put it here)
