help on major work: Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire (1 Viewer)

I've got two historians (Edward Gibson and Michael Grant), i need a third historian that would've lived while the fall of Rome was happening or just after. Could someone help me with that.
Also could someone give me a few ideas of a few topic questions on this subject.

you're planning on only using 3 sources?
sure 3 sources might be a good base but you're going to need alot more than that
dont know of any primary sources about the fall. maybe something was written in the eastern empire

no im using three historians and their writings

youll be hard pressed.,..tacitus and suetonius are very daming on the julio claudian persiod showing how the principate begins to crumble the emire from within...so they might help...ill have a think and a look around to see if i can find anything...

you could actually look at why the romans themselves didnt foresee the downfall (attitudes towards history, how history becomes biased in a context, how over time perspectives change)

you could look at the reasons why the roman empire fell (if u do decide to do this tell em and ill email u a list of books to look at )

alot of teh time for contemporary sources u can just steal the ones mentioned by your modern hostorians (well if possible go actually read the book)
