I was hoping someone could briefly explain the differing perspectives of conflict please?
ie. unitary, pluralist and radical views

I use three main textbooks: Longman, Cambridge and Excel with all having differing answers.

In my trials there was a multiple choice question on this area, and there was a big debate over what the answer was since all the textbook answers in a way clashed with one another after we got our results back.

Also, there was a past HSC short answer question, either 2001 or 2002 about this very topic, and it was to do with explaining one of the perspectives, being worth 6 marks.

So yeah, help would be nice :)

lol mines pretty brief but straight from my notes:

PERSPECTIVES ON CONFLICT
• Unitary- assumes stakeholders (employers and employees) work hand in hand to achieve shared goals
• Pluralist- understands business is complex and various stakeholders have their own goals.
• Radical- recognizes conflict as inevitable and assumes that its US VS THEM ( employers and employees are totally opposed)
