hi., when we integrate indefinte integrals

do we have to write out the exact answer or calculator answer(rounding off)?

find
int 2/(x+3) limit 1,-2

2loge4 - 2loge1
=2loge4
=4loge2
do we leave it like this?

I would leave it like that, it looks neater. But sometimes the questions states to leave it in exact form so you should leave it like. Hence otherwise, just leave it like that

If it says to give the answer to some number of decimal places, then give a calculator answer, otherwise leave it in exact form.

Btw, when you have boundaries for an integral, that's a definite integral. If you have an indefinite integral you should +C.

If you have an indefinite integral you should +C.

Extremely common mistake, always remember the +C for an indefinite integral.

okay, this is going to sound stupid, but i don't know how to do the above question. could someone go through it for me? i'm just having a mental blank.
