any help appreciated. idk how to approach this. partly because im confused as to what diff there r launching from earth vs mars other than the starkly diff 'g'.

I'll give some rough ideas;

Compare is to show how things are different or similar

- The radius of the earth is different to the radius of mars so the total distance from the surface will be noticeably different. [Difference]
- KE = Potential Energy in both instances as escape velocity occurs when potential = KE. [Similiarity]
- Mass of both planets. [Difference]

Make sure to do calculation of both the energies within both cases and show that the escape velocity for both planets is different, and you back this up by the evidence that M and r of both planets are different hence energy transformation of two bullets produce different escape velocities etc.

I'm sure there's more to add but that's just what I'm thinking at 1 am (aka my brains not working so fact check)
